Tillandsia pruinosa originally comes from the Florida, Central America and South America regions. It also
bears the witty name Fuzzywuzzy airplant, which is probably inspired by its winding, flared and silver-grey
scaly leaves. The fuzzy looking little guy grows best when they are tied to a piece of wood or a stone with their
“head” down, so that no water accumulates between their leaves, or this can run off after watering. In
anticipation of flowering, the bulb of the Pruinosa blushes a bright pink and then sprouts soft purple flowers.
